The Guardian

In the midst of what we are all facing with COVID19, there are many suffering personal issues unrelated to the pandemic. My heart is heavy this morning for a dear friend who is facing a catastrophic crisis of her own. I weep for her uncertain future.

She is strong! One of the strongest women I know. She has a deep faith and is surrounded by family and friends that will help her through the coming months.

Not all have the support that she has. I ache for those who are living alone, who are isolated from family and friends, and those who are struggling mentally and/or financially.

I created this piece of artwork in her memory of a loved one I lost a few years ago to addiction. I call it The Guardian. She watches over her loved ones and those who are struggling.

May we all be kinder to one another. We never know what another is facing in their daily life.
