I called my mom Emma Acheson this evening and she asked how my day was. I told her I talked with a friend on the phone, planted some seeds in the garden, and painted in my studio for a bit. I said, "not much of a day actually" . She replied, "That sounds like a great day".
I realized it had been.
Perspective is so important!
I expect too much from myself at times. It's okay to just enjoy the little things in life. Dancing to the music, laughing with a loved one, playing in the studio, sitting on the porch with my husband watching the clouds roll in...that's what life is all about! I hope you are enjoying the simpler things in life and allowing yourself to "just breathe"!
